BROAD STAKEHOLDER INVOLVEMENT.

The group discussed how to get more people involved in the visioning process and to include representatives of the entire watershed. The stakeholder group feels that it is important to involve all community members, a cross-section of the community. A goal of all the participants is to “reach-out” to people typically not involved in such a visioning process and provide guidance and an invitation. In addition, more local, state, and federal government officials should participate in the visioning process, especially officials directly involved in the Elk Headwaters area.

The forum could be used to establish that connection with people that have not participated in such a stakeholder or community development process.
